Universal Kids Resort, Texas

Helping create Universal's first theme park designed specifically for young children.
Universal Kids Resort wasn't simply another theme park. It was an opportunity to rethink what a Universal destination could be for an entirely new audience.
As a Producer with Universal Creative, I helped bring to life Universal's first-ever resort created specifically for families with young children. The project introduced beloved characters and stories in a way that encouraged play, discovery, imagination, and shared family experiences, all thoughtfully designed for younger guests.
What excited me most about this project was the opportunity to create something entirely new. Rather than adapting an existing park, our team had the chance to build a destination from the ground up, designing every experience around the needs, pace, and perspective of young children and their families.
As with many of the projects I've been fortunate to work on, my role extended beyond simply managing production. I enjoy helping creative ideas move from concept to reality by collaborating across creative, technical, operational, and business teams, finding practical solutions that preserve the original vision while making it achievable.
Before the resort opened, I had the opportunity to produce the large-scale physical model featured in the video below. It became one of the first ways people could experience the vision for Universal Kids Resort, transforming drawings and plans into something tangible that helped tell the story of what the resort would become.
